When I Was Just a Boy

When I was younger something that I really wanted was an Xbox 360. I wanted this system so bad because my brother had one and I thought it was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I was used to playing my GameCube so the graphics did not even compare. In my the Xbox 360 had the best graphics i have ever seen before. I worked really hard to get this system, I mowed lawns, shoveled driveways, and raked leaves. I slowly got the money, it took a while to get about $250. But on Christmas five years ago, my father bought me a Xbox 360. I was really excited when I got the system. The first game I got was Gears of War 2. I was happy I got the system, but it felt good earning the money for myself. With the money that I saved up I used on video games and a rechargeable battery pack for my controller.

My Privilege

A privilege that I earned was being able to play any kind of video games I want to play. I got this privilege because my mother and father figured that I am a mature so I can play the games that I want to. Another thing that my parents thought about my grades. My parents figure since I get good grades so I deserve some kind of privilege. I also know when it is time to play video games and when to study. They also figure that I am not going to go out in the streets stealing cars and beating  people up. My family does not put restrictions on when and what time I play video games, because I am at the age where I know what right and wrong is. This is a privilege I enjoy having because it makes me feel mature and like my parents trust me.

thanksgiving

This year my step father prepared Tobias the Turkey with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, pie, and rolls. the person that helped cook was my step father, Nana, and Mom. These people cooked because they are the best cooks in the family. The people that are going to be invited are my family because they are the people I love and enjoy being around. Every Thanksgiving I wake up early in the morning so that my mother and I can watch Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watching the parade has been a tradition my mom and me have done since we stopped going hunting. This years Thanksgiving was really fun because I got to spend time with my family.

What I Would Fight For

Something that I am willing to fight for is my friends. The reason I would fight for my friends is because they got my back and I got theirs. For example if says Sam is not going to make it to the NFL we are going to disregard that comment, beat them up and get back to training. All of my friends help me in some way and I try to help them too. Another example is how Abdul and I struggle in Algebra 2, and I try to keep us both positive. Abdul helps me by telling me all about sports and gives me an overview of games. Abdul quizzes me because he is going to have a future career in ESPN. So I support all of my friends and they support me in some way.

What I Want to do

If I could do anything I would become rich. If I have a lot of money I could do alot with it. With the money I have I would donate to charities and help the less fortunate. If i was rich I would improve my life by getting a good education, but I would not be selfish or think I am better than anyone. The reason I want to become rich is because a lot of people are less fortunate and I want to help change that. I would not just give people money  would open up companies throughout America so that it would create more jobs for people. The only way I would just hand someone money is if that person was disabled or elderly.

Technology

Technology is  important in life because it helps in many ways. Technology helps by making it easier to complete homework and projects. when I have a question or do not know what to do, I can look up examples for help. With technology, you can type essays, which in turn makes it seem like it is professionally done. Technology helps with projects so that decorations and pictures can be added. This type of technology helps people excel in school. by completing school it makes people more successful in life. Having a degree makes it so that people can be able to afford nicer things in life. If you have a good job there is no need to work as much. So there is more time to spend with family.

If Money Was No Object

If money was no object I would be a demolition engineer. I would do this occupation because I could hang around tearing buildings down. This would be the perfect career for me because I like to demolish things. With this job I could bring down all the old crumbling buildings. Being a demolition engineer would impact the society in a positive way. I believe this would cut down crime rates because there would be no secluded areas for drug deals or other illegal activities to happen. Crime rates would start to shrink because when people are not on drugs they will make better decisions. Without abandoned buildings our society will be a safer and better community for children and adults to prosper in.

Favorite hobby

My favorite hobby is to play video games. Video games are my favorite thing to do because each game is different. I like playing Nintendo, but i like to play Xbox 360 more. Xbox 360 is my favorite system to play because I think it has the best games. My favorite game series are Gears of War, Call of Duty, and Grand Theft Auto. The first game I played on Xbox was Gears of War. When I played I thought it was the coolest thing ever. But after a while I got aggravated because my brother always beat me. I was never good when I first started playing. Now that I am older I have gotten more competitive in gaming, and can not stand to lose. I believe I am better than my brother now since he never has time to play anymore.

one thing I would change

If I could change one thing in my life I would not have stopped playing baseball. I want to change this because it gave me something productive to do. Also all of my brothers did not stop playing baseball until they got too old to play. I stopped playing because I got bored with baseball at that time. If I would have stuck with baseball, I think I would have been better at it. Then once I got better I probably would have had more fun. When I did play, my position was pitcher or first baseman. If i would not have stopped playing then my family would have someone to go watch. My family always enjoyed going and watching the boys in my family go play baseball. Then after I stopped playing there was no one in the family left that played sports. I can play baseball now, but after not playing for a couple years I would not be any good. So if I could change anything, I would not have stopped playing baseball.

What I Value the Most

My family are the most important thing to me because i can be myself around them. No matter what I do they will not judge or make fun of me. If they do make fun of me I know they are just joking and are not being serious. With my family i can do anything I want to do. If I want to play video games all day, I can. If I want to to play with hot wheels in the living room with my nephew, I can. Nobody will judge me for that and if they do I do not care because they are my family they have to like me. Whatever my family does I will not judge any of them because I love them. I may make fun of them but they do not take me serious because they know I am joking. So that is the reason my family is the most important thing to me.

Favorite Summer Memory

My favorite thing I did this summer was work on my brothers derby truck. We worked on the truck for a whole week before the demo. The night before the derby we were doing test runs in the truck. While we were doing the test runs the engine decided to blow. My brother was so mad because he really wanted to run in the derby. So he decided to try and change the engine in the truck in one night. The first thing we did was take the cab off, and we did this with a tow motor. The next thing we did was take out the engine and transmission then put the new engine and transmission in. We got everything put back together even though we did not finish we stopped for the night. The next morning we came back, but could not get the truck to start. So we did not get to go to the lorain county fair. We found out what was wrong next week, so we went to the New London festival. My brother got to run in the derby this time, but he came in second place. His friend came in first place and was the one who knocked him out of the derby.

History of my Name

Not everybody has a story behind their name. I am one of those people. My mom and dad were deciding between two choices for my name. The two names my parents had to choose from were Ernie or Tyler. My father wanted to name me after my grandfather. My grandfather was strong as an ox back in his younger days. He was always a hard worker throughout his life. The main reason my father wanted to name me Ernie was so maybe I could be half the man he was. My mom wanted to name me Tyler Lee Naylor. My mom wanted me to be my own person. She did not want me to follow in someone else’s path. My mom wanted me to make my own path. I got my middle name from my dad. Both of our middle names are Lee. My name turned out to be Tyler Lee so I can live my life as my own person.

My Rule of Life

My Rule of Life
My number one rule in life is to not think and just do. Thinking too much on something will make it impossible to achieve something great. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, be the star of the game. Be the person that is going to be remembered. Do not be scared to try new things if they do not go so well try something different. Waiting for dreams to happen does not get anything accomplished. So when opportunity comes do not miss the chance of a lifetime. Trying something new is what will determine if success or failure will happen. Do not just think about doing something go out and do it. If success is not achieved at first keep trying until success is imminent. Do not let failure determine anything in life. So do not think too much because it may be the only chance to complete a goal or dream.
